    The Sr. Site Manager has overall responsibility of the customer project site including managing subcontractors and internal SSI employees to ensure the project is completed within the project specifications and budget.


    Essential Functions:

    • Manages the installation project plan, containing objectives, project organization, planning and cost calculations.
    • Realizes the installation project plan; monitors and manages quality, time, cost and provision of information to Project Manager.
    • Identifies risks in early phases; plans mitigation of installation risks
    • Site progress and time limit control.
    • Incoming goods inspection on site.
    • Responsible for the safety on site regarding the dedicated tasks.
    • Acceptance of mechanical/electrical subsections.
    • Management of assembly.
    • Participation and management of site meetings.
    • Coordination and management of sub-suppliers and assembly on site.
    • Coordinate meetings with vendors and subcontractors.
    • Liaison to customer project manager and SSI project manager.



    • Experience managing large construction sites with up to 150 personnel and subcontractors.
    • Experience in building complex distribution centers and demanding automated warehouse systems.
    • Knowledge of SSI automation products and internal procedures is preferred.
    • Knowledgeable in mechanical, electrical and controls engineering.
    • Willingness to travel extensively to customer sites during installation and commissioning of new systems.

    Other Skills/Abilities:

    • Excellent communications skills.
    • Working experience with MS Office products
    • Must be independent, flexible and detail orientated.
    • Problem solver with the ability to handle multiple tasks at once.
    • Open-minded, energetic, self-motivated, pragmatic, responsible and target orientated.
