    The Traffic Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of shipments and carrier management.

    • Print packing slips
    • Prepare Bill of Ladings
    • Determine the most cost effective procedures and routes for outbound shipments
    • Process small parcel shipments
    • Send out bids for daily shipping and blanket lanes
    • Gather, log and monitor all shipping data
    • Confirm packing skips and add tracking in ERP system
    • Confirm and log carrier invoice pricing
    • Upload shipment POD’s in the ERP system
    • Prioritize order security, accuracy, and on-time pickup and delivery
    • Coordinate with freight forwarders to expedite international shipments
    • Handle all international documents including: NAFTA, Commercial invoices, SED, SLI and AES filing
    • Take corrective action in the case of accidents and delays to minimize extra expenses
    • Email suppliers, carriers, and customer service with shipping updates
    • Prepare and maintain records of freight quotes for the sales force

    Additional Responsibilities:

    • Assist PSD with ordering and scheduling shipments as needed
    • Attend Shipping and Customs classes offered by carriers or partners for continuing education on shipping standards


    • High School Diploma
    • Minimum of 6 months prior shipping experience
    • Minimum of 6 months prior customer service experience
    • Advanced troubleshooting and multi-tasking skills
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills
    • Good math skills
    • Basic Microsoft Office experience (Outlook, Excel, Word)
    • Ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines
