    The position will support our outside sales force and customers on all aspects of the design, estimating, and project management of Custom Dunnage Applications used as part of our Returnable Packaging Systems.

    Responsibilities

    • Travel to and work directly with clients to assess applications of company products and services
    • Work with assigned Packaging Specialist to establish strategies, objectives, and action plans as regards to custom protective packaging for key accounts
    • Provide designs within a timely manner while adhering to sound engineering principals and ISO compliance
    • Manage protective packaging design projects from initial design and proposal through customer service order point
    • Weekly communication with corporate design staff & field management
    • Communicate with sales, engineering, design and customers to plan, develop, and problem solve with custom design concepts

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Packaging Science or Engineering required
    • 1-2 years design skills required in SolidWorks (strongly preferred), AutoCAD or 3D CAD Design
    • 1-2 experience designing automotive focused packaging or corrugated packaging is required
    • Prior project management experience preferred
    • Problem solver with excellent communication skills and attention to detail
    • Ability to work in a fast paced, multi-tasked environment
    • Overnight travel required up to 3-4 times per month
    • Bi-lingual preferred
