About the position:


This position works with a variety of plastic injection molds that produce tubs, totes and waste containers.  Your day-to-day tasks would include performing version / insert changes on the molds

in a high volume, high quality environment as you optimize and troubleshoot molding issues on the plant floor. 


Essential Job Functions:

  • Perform version / insert changes on the molds.
  • Perform preventive maintenance according to prescribed schedules or as so directed.
  • Troubleshoot and repair injection molds and auxiliary equipment as directed.
  • Perform crane and sling inspections and document.
  • Operate in a safe manner, shop equipment including cranes, milling machine, band saw, drill press, lathe, welder, torch and electrical tester.
  • Use a wide variety of powered and non-powered hand tools.
  • Assist with mold changes of injection mold machines.
  • Perform special projects and/or duties as assigned by management.
  • Complete assigned work orders as directed


  • Schedule: Must be able to work hours 7:00am – 3:00pm while in training. 
  • Once trained, must be able to work a 12 hour day shift 6:00 am – 6:00 pm.
  • Must possess the technical skills to troubleshoot and repair injection molds and auxiliary equipment.  A high level of hydraulic, electrical, mechanical skills, read 2D/3D cad files, and computer skills is required.
  • Minimum (1) year experience working on injection molds is preferred, but not required.
  • Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to stand stationary all day.
  • Must be able to work with minimum supervision.
