The Light Packer works with a variety of plastic storage products to include tubs, totes and waste containers.  

• Trims all flash from molded parts. Removes the sprue from all products, when applicable.
• Hot stamps/imprints and/or assembles the product as the order specifies.
• Monitors the production process and notifies the supervisor of non-conformities.
• Makes adjustments in the Plantstar system to account for rejects.
• Inspects every part and records the action on the In-Process Inspection Log every 30 minutes.
• Performs all documentation and product control functions as instructed.
• Maintains a clean and safe workstation.
• Assists in the training of new employees.
• Assists with first piece inspection procedures.
• Performs all other projects or tasks as assigned by the shift supervisor.

• Minimum 3 months prior work experience as a packer in a manufacturing environment
• Prior injection molding experience preferred
• Ability to roll 400 pounds
• Ability to work at a pace relative to the machine cycle
• Ability to work additional hours and/or days as needed
• Ability to successfully complete the training and retraining programs
• Must be punctual
