The Dunnage Design Intern supports our inside design staff, outside salesforce and our customers on all aspects of the design, sample making and production of custom dunnage applications used as part of our returnable packaging systems. This hands-on internship provides the opportunity to learn the production process from manufactuing to customer delivery, including how design and assembly time affects overall project cost and final piece price.

• Assists designers on creating new and current reusable packaging concepts, designs, and prototyping.
• Builds package samples and conducts testing.
• Converts raw materials into final packaging components.
• Communicates regularly with dunnage designers and sales team.

• College degree in packaging science preferred
• Design skills, such as Solidworks (preferred), AutoCAD, or 3D CAD Design
• Excellent communication, organizational, and project management skills
• Detail-oriented
• Intermediate to high level of proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasked environment
• Bi-lingual preferred
