The Production Scheduler interprets and schedules customer orders to facilitate the most economical production runs and meet customer service delivery dates. (S)He determines and manages the most economical levels of inventory. (S)He is readily available and answer all information requests from Sales and Customer Service departments

  • Provide production and A&P departments with production schedules
  • Record and monitor A&P daily production
  • Review Box Order forms from PSD
  • Review cart work order forms from Waste
  • Complete work order forms and graphic orientation forms for inventory stock
  • Provide production with work order packages
  • Maintain hardcopy files of completed work order packages with first piece inspection tags
  • Maintain hardcopy files of completed A&P work orders
  • Ensure all required labels are produced for A&P
  • Provide sales with manufacturing and A&P schedules and order commits
  • Provide sales with information on completed orders
  • Communicate material needs to the Materials and Distribution Manager
  • Record and provide shipping with completed work order packages for verification
  • Provide shipping coordinator with work orders that are authorized to ship
  • Provide raw material handler with daily material requests

Additional Responsibilities: 

  • Answer phone
  • General office duties
  • As directed by the manager or internal customer


  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration or Engineering or equivalent work experience required
  • Minimum of 2 years prior experience in similar position
  • Prior customer service experience preferred
  • Prior manufacturing experience preferred
  • Microsoft Office experience required (Word, Excel, etc)
  • Must have strong written and oral communication skills
  • Must be organized and dependable
